My son, Morgan Jones, died on October 25, 2014, at the age of 26. Morgan was an amazing son, brother, and uncle. He was fun, loving, outgoing, a hard worker and never put anyone down. Morgan loved life; he could make anyone smile, and would light up the room when he walked in.
It has been more than two years since I lost my baby. Morgan’s struggle with addiction began after he injured his shoulder while playing college baseball and was prescribed Lortab for the pain.
Since his death, I've been trying, with God's help, to turn this evil into good. I have spoken at different places, telling Morgan’s story, and around fifty salvations have come from that. I have also started a support group called “Addicted to Prayer,” which is a community led prayer service that meets once a month at different churches to support those struggling with addiction, their families, and the community.

I know God can change things. He has definitely been in my life and I believe that God is still in the healing business!
